Great Japanese BBQ and al carte restaurant. Heaps of menu options. Delicious food and fantastic quality

This was the best lunch experience I have had on the Sunshine Coast. I had the Soba Bento Set and my partner had the Karage Bento Set both were SO fresh and delicious. The food came out very quickly and the restaurant is clean and has nice music. Great Value. I can’t wait to come back and try the BBQ. Huge 5 stars from me. 🥰 Arigatou Goziamasu.

It was a good experience to having a bbq for dinner on their outdoor table by the river, I was tried a pork galbi and Wagyu chuck tail flap just simply with rice. For pork it's recommended to use ssamjang sauce and bbq sauce for the Wagyu. We tried extra chimichurri sauce with so fresh and sour. For the drinks if you go for the alcohol, I recommend you to try lychee Soju with has Smooth flavour.

The staff were very friendly, and the quality of the meat was excellent. Overall, the food quality is great, and I personally find it delicious enough to go every week! The service is outstanding, and I highly recommend the deluxe buffet. Although it’s a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth the value. I honestly want to go every day!

I recently tried the All-You-Can-Eat option at YAKINIKU HIBIKI Sunshine Plaza, and it was a great experience overall. The variety of meats and side dishes was impressive — everything from well-marbled beef cuts to fresh seafood and tasty vegetables, all ready to be grilled right at your table. The quality of the meat stood out, especially considering it’s an all-you-can-eat format. Each cut was fresh and nicely presented. I also appreciated that they offered a good range of sauces and condiments to customise the flavours to your liking. The staff were attentive and quick to clear plates and bring out fresh orders. The ordering system was efficient and the food came out promptly, so you never felt like you were waiting too long for the next round. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, perfect for dining with family or friends. It’s a fun, interactive dining experience.
