Usually beautiful meat. Recently I asked the butcher to cut me some off the bone rib eye steaks. One melted in the mouth but the other which was from the end was so full of sinew it was impossible to cut through let alone eat. Not happy @ $84/kg as it was wasted in the bin.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUTCHERS NO PRESEVERATIVES NO DYES TO MAKE YOU MEAT LOOK GOOD. IM ON CARNIVORE DIET AND WHITH THE HELP FROM THESE GUYS IVE GONE FFOM 130 kg to 116:5 in three months. If you don’t believe me I’ll prove it. Thanks guys for all your help Dean Britt

Great friendly service, love the displays and interior. It looks super retro but feels warm and cozy. Smiles all around and we left with beautiful cuts of meat for dinner that day! Super fresh and well priced. Will definitely be back!

A proper, old school butcher with second to none customer service. Spotlessly clean, excellent quality, a great range and very well priced. Delicious cured bacon and ham and the pork sausages we had on our wood fired pizzas tonight were absolutely delicious. No request is too much trouble. 5 star business, after finding this gem I will never shop anywhere else for meat in Ballarat.
