From the moment we walked into The Yankees, we were impressed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was absolutely outstanding. Angela went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring about our experience. She made great recommendations and delivered everything with a smile. The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Orders came out quickly, yet nothing felt rushed. You can tell the team takes real pride in what they do. Overall, The Yankees is a gem. Great food, quick and friendly service, and special thanks to Angela for making our night so enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back!

If you are looking for a place to have a delicious meal and still feel the cozy and relax vibe of Gold Coast (particularly in Surfers Paradise), this is the place to be! Must try their caesar salad which is one of my favorites! They got lots of food and drinks selection so you'll surely find one that you will love too. Generous servings and the kids approves it too!

I just stopped by for a quick bite, but I’m not exaggerating when I say these are the best skewers I’ve ever tasted. Super moist and the seasoning is spot on. Do yourself a favor and order the truffle fries. They are so crispy and delicious, they feel like a gourmet meal rather than just a side dish.

My husband and I had dinner at Yankees last Saturday and I loved the vibe of this place. The music, decor and the entire ambience was the perfect kickstart to your evening in Surfers. It was right on the strip and in the middle of the action which was great. We tried two of their signature dishes, their chilli dog and the pork ribs with the hot sauce. The ribs were the highlight for me, it literally fell off the bone and I loved the flavour of the sauce - delicious! The chicken skewers were moist and full of flavour as well. They had a live band playing and it really added to the vibe. We really enjoyed the food, service and the vibe of the place and for those ribs, we are definitely coming back!

Veronica was amazing as a waitress! The bar staff chatted to each other the whole time and left us ignored and drinks forgotten. ** Was asked to pay for lunch before receiving any food, which is so weird, makes sense considering how crap the food was** The food was so average. $25 for loaded fries that weren’t loaded with anything, worth $10 at most. $15 for bruschetta which was a store bought pizza bread with a cherry tomato on top- no relevance to an actual bruschetta. Chicken wings were fine. The most basic they could be. Maybe this is the true representation of American food and service? But I know it isn’t, this place is just generally disappointing.
