Dined at The Meat & Wine Co in Sydney and had the pork belly to start—rich, tender, and full of flavour. The rump steak (well done) paired beautifully with a glass of Shiraz, and the crème brûlée was the perfect finish. The Love Thy Lychee cocktail was a standout—refreshing and well balanced. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Would definitely return

This was our very first food experience in Australia, and it was a 10/10. We all ordered the lunch special, and it was absolutely worth it. We also tried the kangaroo skewer—and it definitely delivered. I’m so glad we gave it a try! Laura, our waitress, was fantastic. She was attentive, took the time to explain the menu, shared helpful tips, and every one of her recommendations was spot on. The experience was so good that we even saved room for dessert—the crème brûlée was excellent. We were also celebrating a friend’s birthday, and Laura made it extra special by bringing out a dessert just for him. Such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this place!

This place was top for food and wine. Excellence all the way. Taste was awesome and the pair selection was extraordinary! I was also totally impressed that i mentioned my allergy to shrimps and they adapted my menu, replacing tje shrimps with something else which was sooo delicious. Full 5 stars for you guys! Well deserved! I loved it! Service was super nice and the explanations about the wines too.

We had such a wonderful experience here! The lunch express menu was great value for money, we chose the 3-course option and every dish tasted amazing. We mentioned it was a birthday when booking online, and the team kindly wrote “Happy Birthday” on the dessert, which made the experience extra special. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Highly recommended for both quality and service!

Went here to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday with his family with their 3-course express lunch. Great customer service: We were accommodated and served well by the staff, particularly Parash. The lady at the counter also enthusiastically assisted with taking our photos. Very good food but rump quality could have been better: The $54 3-course express lunch includes a glass of your choice of drink. For the appetiser, I had Salmon tartare which was fresh and light. I personally enjoyed it much to its last bit. I’vealso tasted the pork belly which is a more savoury option - also good but I preferred the salmon still. For mains, I had Rump which was cooked nicely as I had asked - medium rare, but the quality of meat and a little more seasoning I believe could make it better. (Point taken away for steak as I would expect better quality of steak used for a steak place.) House white wine was good. For dessert, their Creme brulee was very good, perfectly paired with the coffee flavoured mini macaron on top. Atmosphere: Nicely themed interior, dark ambiance. It slowly got busier in the main dining area around past 12:30 but still remained good with their service. Toilet was well kept and clean but was separate from the main restaurant area which kind of breaks the ambiance a little compared to their other branches, but it’s not a big deal. Overall, I believe the price for their 3-course express lunch is still great, at $54, when compared to other restaurants in Sydney. I might opt for another Mains next time instead of the rump.
