The food was delicious by the look of it. What we ordered was well done rips for 2. However, when we taste the food, it was cold. We asked for the food to be made warm after eating first 2 rips. We were advised that it will be made warm. To our surprised, the below rips were presented with raw medium cook which is not what we requested. We paid for the food and left without enjoying Not a good experience unfortunately.
Two of us came here for Happy Hour with beer first, then dinner. Wagyu steak was excellent but the scallops were just fair. Red Wine was not impressive. But scenery was nice. Thus restaurant was highly recommended for beef lover.
If youโre after a meal that hits the spot and then some, Steakhouse Grill 66 delivers. The cheesy garlic bread? Outrageously goodโgolden, gooey, and gone in seconds. Fish and chips were crisp, albeit a bit oily with a salad that actually felt like a salad (not just garnish). And the steak? Juicy, peppery perfection, paired with thick-cut fries that could hold their own in any chip showdown. Service was friendly but a little slow.
I ordered the dry aged striploin and waygu beef tartar as entree. The medium rare dry aged steak was prefectly grilled by charcoal. A wave of charcoal smoke hits firstโclean, earthy, and primalโfollowed by that unmistakable dry-aged funk: buttery, and faintly tangy. The flavor is intense and concentrated, with a crisp charred crust and a melt-in-your-mouth, deeply savory interior. I booked outside seat but that day was windy. My rice cracker was blown away. Recommended not to order tartar when outside was windy. The beef tartar was a bit oily. A small suggestion to restaurant: pairing the beef tartare with toasted bread would add a welcome textural element. Incorporating fresh green apple into the tartare could introduce a crisp, fresh note that lifts the richness of the beef.
We came here for a family lunch and had the best experience! Everything from the food to the service was absolutely memorable. We ordered the Lychee Passion Punch and Creamy Island Delight mocktails โ both were refreshing and beautifully presented. The Mushroom Duxelles Risotto ($34) was creamy, rich, and full of flavour, and the Land Platter ($129) was a real highlight โ perfectly cooked meats, generous portions, and great for sharing. We finished off with an Affogato ($10), which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were attentive, and every dish exceeded our expectations. Everything is memorable and highly recommended โ weโll definitely be back!
