Excellent meats that are cooked perfectly. Always piping hot and feel as fresh as can be. Also, one of the best “salad” bars I’ve seen, everything from fresh salad to beef casserole. Staff are helpful and polite. Not the cheapest but 100% worth it for the quality. Couldn’t recommend more.

Highly recommend Rio at Newcastle. The food was exceptional and the meats were cooked to Perfection. All the staff were very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about all the different types of food. Great value for money. We will definitely be back again!

I’ve heard about Rio over the last couple of years and finally got the chance to go for my birthday meal. Everything people said about the place was true, the food was delicious, they serve the steaks exactly how you like them cooked, the meat was amazing. I loved the fact we got to try everything on the menu, and it blew my mind that they remembered what we liked and how we liked it cooked (medium rare obviously). The salad bar was fully stocked even at peak (about 7pm), the service was fast, the food servers were great and made a real fuss of us. Honestly, despite being in a very busy restaurant it felt like we were vip’s and nothing was too much trouble, I uniquely individual experience that is hard to create so well done Rio team. Top Tips: go to the salad bar, get your plates and then go back to your table. Let the meat come to you first, then get stuff to go with it. Remember what you’ve tried if you have the Rio experience, then ask them to bring you the stuff you want. Wear loose pants and don’t eat anything before going… you’ll get a conveyor belt of food coming at you and you should accept your delicious fate. Overall a top experience, I’ll definitely be back for special occasions… 10/10!

Amazing place to eat! Hands down the best meal and experience I've ever had. Food is delicious and there's plenty of it. The salad bar is not your typical one , it has an incredible selection and the garlic mushrooms are to die for. Then they bring the meat to you at the table and it's constant with lots to choose from. They have a little beer mat with yes or no essentially to flip when you don't want anymore served or do. The cocktail list is extensive and all seemed delicious but I went for the french martini. Thank you again Rio for the wonderful experience and food!

Outstanding food with outstanding service. Would highly recommend. We picked Rio’s for my birthday meal (something me and my wife don’t often do due to work and kids) and we couldn’t have ate more if we tried. If you have a special occasion and want a special venue, look no further.
