Great steak and service is outstanding. My parents and their friends just arrived at Melbourne today and they would like a stake house for dinner, since I have been rare steakhouse before so I booked. It has never let people down! Today’s service staff Willow she’s very patient and because I have to choose everything for them, Willow has answered a lots questions for me. At the end, we had the best steak selection from eye filler, scotch fillet, porterhouse and T-bone. Even it’s busy, I can tell all the staff are well organised and professional. We had a wonderful time and it’s impressive to my parents since it’s their first proper meal after landing. We have also ordered a bottle of wine to share, it goes well with the steak too. Before we leave, the receptionist also helped us to take a group photo. Thanks so much! Lovely ambiance and great food and service! Definitely will come back soon.

The food was OK. My friend suggested me to this place but I think the taste and the whole experience were only OK not to the recommendation level. We ordered 200g eye fillet and 300g scotch fillet and medium for both. It was too tender. We should have ordered medium rare for a better taste. For the pricing with the total price, I don’t recommended going this place.

Absolutely fabulous! Steak was glorious. Sides spectacular. Dessert really special. I have food allergies and Chia-Chi looked after me so well. Chia-Chi and the Service team all so warm and friendly. The atmosphere was glorious, and just right. If you are after a really great steak, well cooked and a decadent night to remember Rare Steakhouse Midtown is for you.

We walked in for an early dinner after checking into a nearby hotel, and we were immediately accommodated with a great table upstairs. The experience was fantastic from start to finish! Both of the steaks we ordered were cooked to absolute perfection—tender and so delicious. The service was impeccable; attentive without being intrusive. This place is perfect for a date night! If you're ever in this area of town, you must try it out.

Amazing food and excellent service by Liz and her team. We ordered a few entrées, steaks, and sides, everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place, we’ll definitely be back!
