I love coming here alone for a quick lunch or with a group of friends. The rooftop beer garden is modern and fresh and a glorious way to spend the afternoon in the sunshine. The staff are always friendly, and the have a diverse range of Tasmanian and Interstate wine's. I also love there pool table set up, in an air-conditioned quiet room separate to the beer garden and restaurant.
Canโt rate this place high enough! We were left stranded by another restaurant two days before our booking for 20 people. These guys were so amazing and got us into our own private space with such little notice and on a busy Saturday night. The food was wonderful and the staff was lovely. Will definitely be back, so thankful for them! They had live music too but it wasnโt too loud that you couldnโt hear each other talk. Very impressed
Great pub to eat on the go. A good selection of meals on the menu. Special dietary requirements highlighted. Quick service. Large portions. Tasty food. The bar as always full of people. The dining area quiet. Everywhere, including toilets very clean.
Starving from a hard days work, I thought Iโd try the Northern Public House for a nice pub meal and beer. What I wasnโt expecting was a gastronomic delight! I ordered the pork belly, presented nicely with 2 bellies lateral on a bed of creamy mashed potato and greens. The crackling was crispy, the pork meat was juicy, the greens almost took the spotlight off the pork. FRESH BEANS!!! Well, Iโm in Launceston, right! Some nice kale and other greens in the mix as well. The sauce just right. Seasoned perfectly! Iโll be back very soon for 2nds ๐
Only flew in here for a drink as part of a larger crawl, so (in fairness) I cannot give them a full review; however, I saw/had enough to get the idea of this place - for me, it comes across as a standard pub in a local town that's slightly elevated The staff were friendly, the beers were cold and the seating areas had a nice atmosphere It's exactly what you've come to expect from a pub and I think it's welcoming for a nice night out with family
