We booked a table before a show and were seated at the kitchen bench. From the very start, the experience was outstanding. Francesca was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely engaging. We loved watching the chefs work in perfect sync; it was like watching a well‑oiled machine. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. We ordered several dishes to share, and every single one was excellent. We mentioned that our reservation was for a birthday (we both had birthdays that month), and this was the only restaurant that acknowledged it—with a complimentary cocktail, no less. Highly recommended!

The Mog Champ sends his regards. Visited for their happy hour recently as I wanted to try their fancy tacos. They only provide happy hour on the three tables outside so the earlier you get there the better. Favourite was the pork belly tacos! We ordered all the happy hour options along with two cocktails. Service was good and the food is enjoyable. The tequila cocktails is a bit much for our tastes but it was nice to try it out. Booked in advance and ordered the 1kg steak — absolutely worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavour, and the cocktails were equally impressive. Great atmosphere and a very enjoyable overall dining experience. Will definitely come back again. Really loved this place.

Went to Esteban for Xmas eve with parents visiting from Italy and the experience was 10/10! We decided to get the Chef’s Menu for $105pp and honestly were impressed with the quality and the serving sizes too. Fish entrees were fresh and tasty, stracciatella was good and different from what we were used to, lamb shoulder with birria consomme was rich and meaty but the best bite was the pork belly - I would go back and eat 5 serving!! Margs and tequilas were also very good. Props to the lovely lady who served us with a big smile and super attentive and kind approach, even towards my parents who do not speak English. Will definitely be back!

I was recommended to visit Esteban by my mother who heard about this restaurant through a Facebook group. My mum is Coeliac so she is careful with checking Gluten Free options at restaurants. Esteban was incredible! From the warm welcome by the lovely Claudia to the cosy and dim interior, plus beautiful, fresh food. This funky den is worth trying out. We had the set menu for lunch. The salmon is light and full of flavour. Loved the tacos! The pork belly was so yummy. Finally the beef and potatos were delicious. All the staff are friendly, smiling and super helpful. They even hid our huge shopping trolley behind the bar for us! I give it 5/5, cannot wait to come back. You guys all rock! Cheers.
