Unfortunately it was pouring rain & there wasn’t enough indoor seating. Some customers went to Walsh Bay, we had a booking for 7pm we didn’t get seated until around 8.20. The staff were fantastic given the chaos, once we were seated we received all the food promptly & it was delicious 🤤
Expensive but a really good steak! Went here on our last night in Australia and we really enjoyed the food. Everything just felt “elevated” and the service was great elevated along with the food. We were going to sit outside but the weather was not ideal. If you are able to snag a outdoor seat it is worth it for the nice lake/water views (although the lake/water isn’t that amazing to look at it’s all about the mood). Inside has a very “cigar bar” feel which makes sense since they have a cigar menu. We ordered way too much because we were out all day sightseeing so we are able to give a good review of food. Starters: Calamari was amazing. Great crunch, fresh and not chewy and the dipping sauce had the right amount of spice, 5/5 stars.The bone marrow beef tartar was a bit over the top for me. The bone marrow just made it a bit too “rich” but everyone else enjoyed it. I wouldn’t order it again but would I’ve it a 4/5 stars. Mains: Steak tasting platter made medium rare. All steaks were cooked perfectly. The thin sirloin might have been the most tender. This selection comes on a plate of mashed potatoes. If you don’t mind a little beef juice/blood it’s ok but if you prefer to keep your meat & veg separate it might be a turnoff. We added the harissa garlic butter ($6) and I think it’s not needed & over priced. The steaks are seasoned well so the extra sauce is not needed. Overall 5/5 stars. We also got the porterhouse which was really perfectly cooked and nice and tender. For this dish the mashed came in a separate tray which was a little better. Nothing to complain about so 5/5. Sides: Honey & chilli roasted carrots were under cooked, a little too crunchy. There wasn’t much roast on them for me. Otherwise the taste was good and I would get it again. 4/5 stars. Roasted broccolini was amazing! Loved the beetroot hummus that they came with. A great balance of crunch, sweet and tartness, 5/5 stars! Steakhouse fries with rosemary was standard steakhouse but I must say the fries were cooked perfectly. Sometimes they can be undercooked inside and/or over salted but these were not, 5/5 stars. There are also truffle fries which are 2x the cost, I wouldn’t bother with the extra $$ as the regular fries were pretty tasty. Dessert: We got the Bischoff cheesecake which was ok. It’s more of a no bake layered cheesecake. Nothing amazing but solid dessert, 4/5. We would go again. Less items can be ordered and feed the group sufficiently.
We had a 5:30pm booking on New Year’s Eve and were there to celebrate a birthday. We shared the tomahawk special, along with the kids’ pasta, velvet chicken supreme, and several sides. The food was fantastic. Our waitress, Makayla, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and with a great sense of humour that matched our group perfectly. The view over the harbour is always stunning, especially for our out‑of‑town guests. We’ll definitely be coming back again.
We took some clients here for an end of year thank you. Wow, just wow. Of course the location was beautiful. Waterfront, outside seating was cool, on a very hot summer day. The service was top notch. The whole crew took great care of us, offering friendly advice on the menu and wines. The service was timed perfectly. The food was absolutely exquisite. Check out the photos. The tomahawk was absolute perfection, melt in your mouth. And to top off the occassion we had the best affogato ever. Thanks Elements for a special occassion, done the right way.
Sri’s service was incredibly professional and attentive, which made our whole dining experience even better. The T-bone was juicy and full of flavor, the escargot was tender and buttery, the toast and tallow had a rich, comforting aroma, and the crab pasta was creamy with a fresh, sweet crab taste. Overall, everything was excellent and we’d love to return!
