Riki’s Japanese BBQ in Cairns is our go-to spot, we’re basically regulars at this point (as you can probably tell from the photos 😂). The food is always unreal and the vibe is perfect for a fun night out with family. Jason always looks after us and makes the experience even better 🔥❤️ If you’re not sure what to order, get one of the sets. We always go for the Wagyu set and it never disappoints. Highly recommend if you’re in Cairns and craving Japanese BBQ!

Great Japanese bbq place. Must try beef liver. Tender and delicious. Pork belly also nice. Waiyu beef ok but not up to my standards.

Their tofu was sour and stale, clearly spoiled in the refrigerator. We reported this to the waiter, who dismissed it with no apology. Then, the garlic clove we were served had a hair in it... disgusting. The waiter was indifferent, offered no apology, and kept making excuses. We didn't ask for a refund, but the service was completely inconsiderate. … after all ， My friend went home with severe diarrhea.

If you're a fan of Japanese Yakiniku, you know how delightful it can be to find an authentic Japanese Yakiniku Restaurant in your city. It's truly a joy. That's how I felt when I visited “Riki Yakiniku” in Cairns. Chef Jason trained for a decade in Osaka as a Yakiniku Chef and served high-quality Japanese BBQ standards. We savoured Wagyu marble 5 and 9 meat, beef tongue, and beef in the bone, and each dish was delicious. We also enjoyed the prawn tempura, seaweed, and miso, all equally delectable. And to complete our meal, we relished some refreshing Japanese green tea ice cream. This is the restaurant if you're looking for an authentic Japanese BBQ experience. It comes highly recommended! 😋😋😋 We came back to Cairns for our second vacation. We must ensure that we dine at Riki again. Not only once, but we had three dinners. Each time, we truly enjoyed it. The food standards are among the best Yakiniku that I have tried. It is a MUST TRY Japanese BBQ in Cairns!

We shared a thoroughly enjoyable meal with our party of 4. Every dish was made fresh. The kimchi was amazing. Everything was just so fresh and full of flavour. Will be back
