My new favourite bar in Launceston… and top x5 in Tasmania. Staff are SUPERB! Sophisticated and beautifully atmospheric. Musicians that play are perfection. Whisky line up is very on point. Charcuterie board, excellent selection and a nice full board. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our visit(s) to Bar Urbane in Launceston. So good we went twice! Allarna and Locy provided the most fabulous and friendly service and the cocktails and food were amazing. The focus is on local produce and really inventive and delicious cocktails. A must visit when in Launceston.

A great upscale cocktail bar on the seafront; bit pricey, but well worth the experience Part of a group of dining experiences along seaport, Bar Urbane serves some of the best (and inspired) cocktails I've ever had in an elevated environment When I say the drinks are incredible, I can't emphasise it enough - experimenting with flavours brings some very inspired options For me, the Thai Green and Charlie Chaplin are a must Pair the experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff, and you have a complete victory Only thing I didn't get to try was the oysters, but I'm sure they'd be great too Overall, dropping in here for a drink whilst walking through is well worth it

Last minute find as we were coming into Launceston. It was a Sunday night and was quiet but that wasn’t bad as got to speak to attentive staff and service was super fast. Wouldn’t mind coming back when it is busy. Cocktails we had were great and had an original and local twist to them. Food was fresh and tasty especially the oysters were amazing. Meatballs were a tad cold but flavour was spot on. Definitely returning when visiting Launceston.
