Don’t judge a book by its cover. From the outside, you think no,but get out the back and it’s class. Apparently heritage issues are stopping building improvements. But step inside and the food quality takes over. We had the seafood basket very good, Osco Chcken, which was brilliant, fish of the day which was pretty good, but the carbonara was awesome. Service was awesome. Do yourself a flavour and come here, but book first, as it’s a busy place and seems like a favourite place.

Staff were very friendly. Historic building. Great value for money and they do good classic pub meals. Actually so busy for a Friday lunch we didn’t expect it, but I can see why. I would recommend for pub classics done well.

Lovely staff, always happily checking in. Food is phenomenal, portion sizes are very good, unfortunately not leaving any room in my stomach for dessert :( absolutely adore this place. Gets pretty busy, so definitely book ahead of time

This place should be worth to spread the words! Best steak at affordable price ever I had in Tassie! I got 500gr Rib Eye, charcoal flavourful on the dish with Mushroom gravy sauce (yes! mushroom actually a lot in the gravy). Good portion with $56. Chips and salad are included and it is way soooo nice. Crunchy and hot, salad with cucumber tomato onion and cheese and other veggo like rockets spinach. I love it! Entree with calamari is worth as it is like fresh and not much much crumble/batter. The seafood basket is fish, squid, scallop and prawn fried in beer batter, good portion at $33. Table is clean and staffs are friendly and approachable. There are many kid chair as well. Another plus point is their clean toilet and they have a separate toilet for parents with toddler. Definately come back!!
